The Richness of St. Paul's

The riches of St. Paul's lies not only in the beauty and history of the building but also in the beauty of the people who attend St. Paul's. Two weeks ago we were fortunate to have members of the Studebaker Drivers Club tour the church.  The crowd was not as large as we had hoped but the Club members who did tour the church were wonderful people.  One lady who was from Australia came while her husband was attending another function.  She was staying in downtown South Bend and walked to the church.  Her husband had their only vehicle so one of our members, Becky Emmons, took her to the South Bend Chocolate Company for a tour, picked her up and drove her to Notre Dame's Basillica for another tour.  She then brought her back to her hotel.  Pastor Tom Thews believes that "it's all about relationships" and the members of St. Paul's showed that it really is about relationships that day.  I'm proud to be a servant of this wonderful church.
