Dickerson UMC VBS offerings provide 'Bread of Life' for local Food Pantry

We had 10 children for VBS this week. Their daily offering provided over 20 bags of non-perishible groceries for the local Food Pantry. These were presented by the children during the offering  and dedicated at the Sunday Service celebrating VBS August 19th. Each child carried 2 bags and made two trips, plus a few extra hands helped to bring all the groceries forward. It was as if their single dollars were multiplied into so much! There was not a dry eye as I looked over the congregation. Such a multiplication...truly the bread of life for those in need.
