Previous pastor for 2011 retired Dec. 2011 after two and 1/2 years. There were persons who left church after 1st year(2009) who contributed almost half of budget , therefore the second year (2010) was difficult finantially though we managed by fund raisers to pay apportionments but next year(2011) pastor stayed on from June to Dec. 2011(had previously planned to retire June 2011) in order to leave the church in the best shape for successor but due to financial lodd was unable to pay apportionments but was able to get church in position to pay them in 2012 and get attendance back up before retiring. When new pasror came in Jan. 2012 thingsd went well.attendance held and offering enabled church to meet budget and to pay apportioments . Aug. 19 2012 pastor decided to resign appointment since he was retired supply-this caused much disappointment and failure to start educational program much anticipated by congregation( whatever reasons and causes it happened and Supt. Clark asked former pastor to help for few months and things are picking up and people are being very supportive and helpful. I feel that when I was pastor before that I did not finish my job, though I regret the loss of previous pastor I do believe that God has given me a second chance to help reconcile the church- I began by seeking reconcillation with one opf famalieswholeft the church-things are going well but much work is still to be done.
