Veterans' Tribute

Mount Zion held a special program honoring the Military Veterans of our community on Saturday, November 10th. A memorial tribute to the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country was also a part of the program.  A local Vietnam Veteran provided an inspiring and informational message to the many veterans, their families and other community members present.  A feast consisting of turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings was served after the program. 

Many of the veterans expressed the joy they felt for being recognized and honored.  As a result of this gathering, the veterans indicated that they would like to form a community veterans group and intend to do so.

We thank God for all the veterans for their dedicated and loyal service to our country, and we deeply appreciate the sacrifice they made for us to keep our country free.

Additionally, we thank God for blessing us, Mount Zion church family, to be able to bless someone else.
