Seeing God in action.

God has been very active in our congregation in the last couple of weeks. On Nov. 11 we took up a collection to help victims of hurrican Sandy and collected $2516 from out little congregation. Yesterday we took 105 Operation Chrismas Child Boxes to the collection center. On Sat. working through the ShareDC food progam, we distributed 49 food boxes to needy people. Many of the boxes were contributed by church members. Last night at the community Thanksgiving service, we joined with fellow Christians from other churches to give food for the community Christmas basket program. We will continue to collect food for this effort until Dec. 16. God is good!!
