Marvel is a community of about 50. The UMC is the only Church in the commuity. Our larger suburbs are Durango, Colorado, and Farmington, New Mexico.

We are a part of the San Juan Cooperative Parish. People attend the church from Durango, Hesperus, La Plata, New Mexico, and Aztec , New Mexico. It is a family oriented church.
