Transfiguration Sunday

Sermon topic "Mountaintop Experience", encouraging congregation to share their mountaintop experience.  For the next 5 Sundays we will have a different

person from the congregation sharing their experience with the congregation.  All were encouraged to give up 45 minutes of their time to spend time

reading their Bible during Lent..  Giving up time on their cell phones or texting, by giving more time to God.  Also encouraged everyone to attend the

Wednesday Night Ash Wednesday Service.

A dozen people from our church went to Trinity U.M. to cook and serve the homeless.  We will also have a non-food give-a-way this Saturday from 9:30 to

11:30 a.m.  The Men's group will sponsor a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. open to the community as a fund raiser.
