Spiritual Resilienacy

I was reading today in a little devotional recieved as a daily email and it used Proverbs 29:23 that "Pride lands you flat on your face; humility prepares you for honors".  The question "How have you seen God's presence in you congregation? represents how God has made himself present to our church by trusting that inspite of low attendance and fianancial overspending beyond weekly income that we are being renewed spiritually and emotionally for service in God's Kingdom in Valley Mills.  As my 22 year old son put it, who is a senior in college and about to get married in Decemeber of 2013, don't abandon ship on them...get them pumped up"...stay the course.  The presence of God in our church family is that inspite of systemic inter-family fall outs and pastors that rotate in out of the church ever other two or three years, that God is about to do something with us that will add to the mission of "transforming men and woman" lives to Jesus Christ.
