Spiritual Renewal

It has been exciting to see this over the past 3-4 months.  Congregational Spiritual Renewal.  Prayer is the key.  We have folks who pray before the worship service in the front corner of the Sanctuary.  Since the church is 1 of 3 on a three point charge, they are doing this without the pastor leading.  Also they are planning to plant 2 to 3 small wesley style class meetings in the surrounding communities based on prayer, building relationships and accountability to help each other and new friends grow in their spiritual walks with Christ.  in November, the church was contemplating a merger and closing their doors due to finances.  The tithing and gifts are up, and ministry, outreach and disciiple making is once again on the forefront of our vision.  Praise be to God who is at work in the Church.
