Faith Story

On this third Sunday in Lent, another member of our congregation gave his faith story.  His name is Dick Hughes.

He told of being a recovering acoholic, his wife having cancer 4 times and his health and how wonderful God

has been to him through the people in this church.  He felt very blessed that we have such wonderful, loving people

in our church congregation.

The Girl Scouts participated in the church service by having a flag ceremony and stating their girl scout laws and promise.

They then went down to help with the children's Faith Explorers Program.

Pastor Carla spoke on "The Gift of Life" followed by Coffee House in Fellowship Hall.

This past Friday was World Day of Prayer.  Our sanctuary doors were open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. for people to come in

to pray.  18 members of our congregation signed up to come into pray for 30 minutes each with a 15 minute break between

each half hour.  God is Good and has blessed us with his presence!
