New service

February 10, 2013 we began a new evening Praise & Worshop service.  Each Sunday at 5 pm Gathering on the Hill meets in the Fellowship Hall.  The offerings have continued to grow each week, and average attendance has been 50.  Church Council has designated 77% to local ministries.  Monies collected for February and March will be given to the Kairos Prison, Boyd Unit Ministry (Kairos Boyd 21 coming up in April).  A variety of other ministries were discussed and identified.  At the beginning of each month a ministry will be selected for that month.  On March 3rd a young man I met during Kairos 18 walked into our church and has been in regular attendance since at both services.  He has also brought his 2 teenage sons and now they have brought other local children to both morning and evening services. On March 10th evening service we also recieved our first new member into the church by profession of faith since my appointment in 2011. The Holy Spirit is working in Tehuacana!
