The Comforter Quilting Group delivered 16 large quilts and 1 baby quilt to Refugee Services of Texas on February 20,2013. We met with Aaron Rippenkroeger, the CEO and Austin Area Director and Lauren West, Volunteer Coordinator. Mr. Rippenkroeger discussed the services provided by Refugee Services of Texas last year to 330 individuals and shared with us a chart of originating countries. The quilts will be used to provide warmth for the refugees' beds in their new apartments.
