Small Group Lenten study

Beginning on the first Sunday of Lent (February 17), fourteen different groups (including three adult Sunday School classes) began working through "The Bait of Satan:Avoiding the Deadly Trap of Offense" by John Bevere.  Various reports have been filtering in about persons being impacted by this study, both personally and individually, as well as in relationships.  For instance, one group leader reported that at the end of the very first session, two of her neighbors who had "issues" with each other for several years, reconciled in her living room.  Others have reported participants admitting that they had been offended when they had previously denied taking offense.  Some have even come to understand how they have caused offense.  God is at work within our congregation to bring healing and reconciliation
