CHILDREN LEAD IN MISSION

Our Lenten offering each year goes to Heifer International and we seek to raise enough for an ark, $5000.  This year 3 middle school girls, 2 from WUMC had started raising funds for HI and we joined with them, and together raised over $5000.00.  The girls had bake sales, put up artwork, had a yard sale (with lots of help) and energized the church in such a beautiful way.  They did so well.  It was exciting.
