My husband, Tom and I made 9 sandwiches and got out in the church van, and distributed on the East side of town.

After we ran out, we went to the grocery store, bought more ham and cheese and distributed 13 more sandwiches.

We met and talked to strangers and shared the love of Christ on the streets in Cisco Texas it was a blessing of a day.  We are trying to teach the church to get outside their comfort zone and be the hands and feet of Jesus, outside of the church walls.  Hopefully through our stories of reaching out to (3 working outside their burnt trailer, the woman walking her dog who was not feeling well and lives alone,   man collecting things amongst the trees who has a wife, and two handicapped children,  and another man along the side of the rode who thanked us profusely who had had a little to drink,  the trip to the fire station, and the husband and wife motorcyclist, and the teenager with her mother, and the couple whose wife is a CNA and the husband is homebound.  Through the witness and testimony of Christ in their own lives that their was a transformation, a change in hearts, to see the love of Jesus through the simple handing out of a sandwich.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
