Mother's Day at Mount Zion

 A special tribute was provided to the senior (seasoned) mothers of Mount Zion  by the Older Adult ministry and the Methodist Women.  It started on Friday as each of our  seasoned mothers who attended were treated to a complimentary manicure by the cosmetology students from Virginia College. This event was held in the church fellowship hall and  light refreshments were served.  The atmosphere was filled with God's presence.  On Saturday, the older adult ministry had its regular monthly fellowship and there to, the presence of God peremeated throughout the atmosphere.  Two dynamic women from local buisnesses blessed the group with some very beneficial information. Sunday, the annual Mother's Day service took placed during morning worship time.  An awesome woman of God presented an awsome message on women of strength.  Again, God graced us with his presence.  The entire weekend was filled with love as everyone worked together harmonioiuosly with an abundance of joy. To God be the Glory!
