Fall Follies Parade

On a warmish, dark, misty night on the streets of Oblong, hundreds of people gathered to witness a spectacular event: Oblong's Nighttime Parade. People lined the streets and children waited with great hope and anticipation for candy to fall at their feet. This year Dogwood Prairie and Seed Chapel UMC entered the parade: Fourteen volunteers walked the mile long trek, handing out 6,000 pieces of candy, 500 pens, and 500 flyers. We are already making plans for next year!
