New Pastor--- Bro. Steven Howe

The Coles, Independence & Temple Hill Charge was excited to welcome Bro. Steven Howe to our churches June 30. Our congregations have been in prayer for our new pastor and we know that God will guide him as he pastors our charge. The three churches had a welcoming dinner for Bro. Howe on Saturday evening members were able to "meet and greet" him. Everyone wore their nametags to assist Bro. Howe in getting to know the members of each congregation.

Prior to the June 29 gathering, the three churches prepared the parsonage for him and helped to make his transition to Kentucky easier. Then on Wednesday evening June 26, Bro. Howe joined the charge Youth Group for a pizza dinner and the youth enjoyed meeting the new pastor and telling him about their youth activities. They have decided to call him Bro. Steven and are very happy to have him work with the youth group.  Then on Sunday, June 30, Bro. Howe learned about the schedule of speaking to each congregation on Sundays. Bro. Howe  gave his testimony about how God had transformed his life and his decision to go into the ministry.

WE feel that God has sent Bro. Steven Howe to our small, rural churches so that we can support him on his journey of ministry and service to God and we know that God will help both Bro. Howe and our churches  grow in faith and to serve him in every way that we can. God is good all the time!
