Prayer Quilt Ministry at St. Philip's United Methodist Church

Subject:  Quilt - July 8, 2013

“Thank you to the loving hands, that chose the material, picked the pattern, cut the pieces and then pieced them together...many hands many hearts praying for Paul..  You become so humbled and over whelmed when the rest of the world seems to be so self centered and then  this unselfish , generous symbol of all that is good in this world lands on your doorstep.  I will say I have already added my knot and a couple of tear stains.

We were both moved to tears by the card and loving messages sent...Paul says he feels cured already...long way yet to go, but he is a fighter.  Will keep you up to date on what is going on,  he has decided it should be on the bed and he can cover himself each night and the soothing prayers of healing will lull him into a good nights sleep.

May God Bless and keep each and every one of those that have prayed for us and continue to pray for us, you are all remembered in our nightly prayers.  Maybe in Dec. Cassie can bring him in for show and tell....”
