A Youth's Baptism

On July 14th one of our youngest members (age 10) was baptized and joined the church.  It was a day of great celebration! This young man has had a deep understanding of God's presence from an early age. He has alway had very deep insights when participating in our Children's sermons and has touched many of our adult members with his understanding.  Sometimes we need to just be like the children and not make things so complicated when it comes to our Lord.  He came to accept Jesus at a local Baptist Vacation Bible School and then came and talked to our Pastor. I believe it was the combination of the VBS and his weekly trips up to the front of the church for Children's time along with the support of his family and church that brought this young man to an early awareness. It just goes to show you that working together we can transform people!
