Baptism

On August 18, 2013 the Ruggles church baptized a baby who had been born prematurely. Everyone had prayed for this child for several months for it to be able to survive and accomplish God's purpose in its life.  Through the time spent at the Lehigh Valley Neonatal Unit a request was made by an aunt to the child to knit or crochet baby blankets or afghans. Two of the ladies started right away.  One more joined when the other two taught her how to crochet. So far they have made approximately 40 blankets or afghans.  Each Sunday they bring in their new creations and the people present ooh and ahh over them. We plan to take a picture when they are taken to Lehigh Valley the beginning of November.  This has certainly been the presence of God in this tiny church.
