Annual Women's Day @ Wesley Chapel

Celebrated our Annual Women's Day September 29th, speaker Rev. Dr. Cynthia Davis, District Superintendent of McKendree district in Memphis; Theme: Faith, Hope and Love in Action. Special recognition of ten Women of Worth who were honored as community servants. These honorees included the new superintendent of our city school system, a 15-year breast cancer survivor, children/youth organizers, a creative dance teacher, and civil rights advocates. Music was provided by the "Women of Purpose" from Brownsville. So we all enjoyed a diverse  fellowship and refreshments after the worship service. It was powerful to see the affects of the scripture reading,and  the message itself, and the impression made on our youth and young adults by interacting with these soldiers of the LORD.
