Community Christmas Dinner

Friday, December 13th saw another gathering of our community for the annual Community Christmas Dinner hosted by the Trego County Ministerial Alliance.  The dinner was held in our fellowship hall.  Approximately 122 people from our town's two nursing homes and from the general community attended the dinner.  An additional 28 people were fed through Meals on Wheels which our congregation was serving that week.  Those in attendance included students from Trego Community High School who sang during the meal.  The gathering of kindred souls combined with the music that included sacred songs made for a worshipful atmosphere.  God's loved moved among the tables of those attending that meal who otherwise may not have fellowship with many of their friends.
