Adopting families at Christmas

Local school counselors and nurses helped us identify needy families for Christmas.  We assigned one couple from our church to each family, encouraging them to take the adult shopping for toys, clothes, paying bills, rent or utilities.  Shopping with that parent or guardian was the true Christmas present.
