Walking by Faith

Our pastor, Rev. Sharon Karamoko, has been preaching a series of sermons on "Walking by Faith". Several of our Lane College students had encouraged their classmates to visit Wesley Chapel that morning to hear the next message. The students seemed to be sitting on the edge of their seats as Pastor Karamoko emphasized that we must submit to God's will and put Him first in our lives. As she extended the invitation to discipleship and the was musician was softly playing "Lead Me, Guide Me", two young gentlemen arose and together walked to the front and offered their hands to the Pastor. They requested to be baptized and to join in fellowship with our church. Finally, as they were kneeling to pray, several other college students came up to support them and minister to them and we all thanked God that there is still hope for the next generation! If we trust God to lead and guide them, ultimately it is our prayer that they will become faithful disciples and go out transforming the world for Jesus Christ!
