PROFESSIONS OF FAITH

We have been blessed the past two weeks with Spirit-filled soul-stirring worship experiences that moved two young adults (one male/one female) to come on profession of faith as candidates for baptism.  Additionally, we had another young man come desiring to transfer his membership from a Baptist church in Kansas City, KS.  Our emphasis on becoming a missional church is manifesting in our drive to collect prom dresses and suits, and connecting with three area high schools.  We continue to feed the hungry with our Good Shepherd Ministry, and our youth (and youth workers) are working at Grand Avenue UMC's Lazarus Table on Wednesday afternoons.
