We're on the Move for Christ

Vincent UMC in Grenada, Mississippi is certainly on the move for Christ.  During the month of November 2013, the members and the community of Grenada gathered at Vincent to worship and celebrate Christ the King.  A program was given with the title:The Crowing of the King.  The program was well attended from the membership and the Grenada Community.  We had about 80 people in attendance. 

During the month of December 2013 Vincent has designated the fourth Sunday to bring a gift to Christ.  This love offering was a gift that the members offered to meet the budget needs.  This offerinig was over and above the regular tithes and offerings.  Each member brought their gift to a beautiful lit Christmas tree and placed their monetary gift underneath the tree or on the tree.  The result of the offerings was very generous gift to the church.

We can say that the members and leaders of Vincent UMC in Grenada are certainly on the move for Christ and the presence of God was enjoyed and celebrated by all through the ministries and activities that was held at Vincent.  We will keep moving on in the name of Christ.
