God's presence

This Easter was the end of a very trying Holy Week where three families said good bye to their loved ones.  The families attended sunrise or worship service at one of the two churches and the out pouring of compassion for these families was evident.  These people being present also made a huge effect on the resurrection story and the passion of Christ leading up to the empty tomb on Easter morning.  This will provide a spring board for future  events designed to build faith and love of neighbor as well as the joy of sharing the good news of eternity.

The community of Hay Springs and Rushville have expressed lovingly their feelings of loosing a pastor who is loved and both churches are open to receiving a new pastor and follow Christ's leading.  God has been evident in the outpouring of support for the pastor leaving and the hope surrounding the pastor coming in.  I hope they will continue to be allowed to openly express their fears and expectations.
