Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a glorious day at Church Grove as I am sure it was in churches across the nation.  A highlight of the service was the flowering of the cross.  An ugly wooden cross, covered with chicken wire, became beautifully adorned with flowers as each person present came forward to add flowers to the cross.  It was a beautiful array that signified the risen Christ.  Our pastor lead us with joy in uplifting hymns, "He Is Lord," "This Is the Day," "He Lives," and "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today."  God was present in this service.
