Parker UMC God's Presence

Even as we have seen the decline in worship numbers as the winter visitors leave for the summer we have seen a surge in our congregation's desire to help with the new and continuing ministries. One lady who was looking for a ministry has begun cooking for the youth on Tuesday. When the youth who pick up trash return to church she prepares a wonderful meal for them and the youth showing up for the later programs have begun to come early to eat. 

We used Palm Sunday as a celebration of how the church membership not only participate in the various ministries that are growing but to celebrate carrying Christ with them to the local civic organizations they belong to and the good ministry they do.
