The Bethany Butterfly Club is up and running during church with elementary-age children after a late spring, and just in time for us to celebrate Earth Day! We released our (late) Easter Painted Lady butterflies and started a bunch of milkweed seeds to get ready for God's Great Monarch Migration, currently on its way back to us from the overwintering sites in Mexico. We're also excited about our return letters from new friends in Mexico, and from other students all over the US who are helping Monarchs and all of God's pollinators at their churches, schools, clubs, and homes! Pastor Marsha found us buttons that say "Hear the buzz about God's love!" and the kiddos were very excited to get those to take home with their new milkweed plants on Sunday.
